The 2nd Annual Bluegrass Poker Run will be held May 30th, 2009 at the Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino in Skiatook. The Poker Run will tour Osage County making three stops along the 110 mile route. Each stopping point will be held at the Osage Million Dollar Elm casino locations in Bartlesville , Pawhuska, Hominy, and Skiatook. The poker run consists of touring the designated route, making each stop as specified. At each location, the participant will draw a random playing card, making a 5-card poker hand. The best poker hand will win 30% of all entry fees, and the worst hand will win 20% of the entry fees. Anyone and everyone is invited to attend as well as any motorcycle and car clubs.
There will be a raffle drawing held during the event for prizes and a helmet. Raffle tickets will be sold at the Start/Finish point and at the other locations along the route. All proceeds will go to help fund the Skiatook Bluegrass Festival held June 25-27. Registration opens at 11:00AM at the Skiatook casino location (2 miles west of town). The first bike/car will leave at 11:30 and the last bike/car leaves at 12:30. All poker hands must be turned in no later than 4:30PM. All drawings will be held at the end of the event. The cost to enter the poker run is $10 for motorcycles, $15 for cars/trucks, and $5 for each participating passenger and additional poker hands. If you buy 3 poker hands, your 4th hand is free!! The poker run is sponsored by Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino, M&W PowerSports of Broken Arrow and hosted by the Skiatook Bluegrass Association.
